This treadmill comes with a motor with CHP of 3.25 and a large running surface that is able to accommodate heavier users. It also has racks for devices that are non-rattling and two adjustable stabilizers to provide stability. It doesn't come with the same amount of entertainment options like some of the treadmills we've reviewed, but it does have quick-touch buttons that allow you to switch between low and higher speeds and inclines.

This treadmill comes with a lifetime frame warranty and 90-days of warranty on labor deck, parts and deck protection. The warranty isn't as long as we would think of for a treadmill at this price, but it's a good deal for those who only intend to use it for moderate or light exercise. It's made by Dyaco International and carries the Spirit brand name. This company, which produces several brands, including Sole Fitness, is a household brand in the fitness industry. Their treadmills are very competitively priced, and are available at sporting goods stores and Costco.

2. Nordictrack Commercial 2450

This sturdy treadmill is built to last and comes with an impressively high weight capacity and plenty of features. It is also a relatively inexpensive machine for a premium machine that comes with a month's IFit membership, worth $39 (a $39 value).

Its quietness allows the machine to remain stable even when it is running at a high rate or on an inclined slope.

AutoAdjust is another significant improvement. It automatically adjusts the treadmill's speed and incline during iFit workouts. The treadmill does this automatically based on the type of workout and also your current fitness level and level of effort. You can alter this at any point with a quick touch of the screen.

If you're not an iFit member, or prefer to run on your own the Commercial 2450 also has a Manual Mode that allows you the full control over the treadmill's speed and incline, decline and resistance settings. This is a great choice for runners who want to concentrate on their pace and form without having iFit trainers guide them.

As with other Nordictrack treadmills like the Commercial 2450, the Commercial 2450 is relatively easy to put together and fold away when not in use. EasyLift helps make the process more secure and less complicated than other treadmills, which require more force to release.
